Cairnryan Connected

Cairnryan in Bloom had submitted a ‘wish’ for the bridge at Beoch Burn to be relocated to allow the coastal path, which village volunteers have recently completed clearing, to be accessible for all and provide the village with a safe walking route towards Stranraer.

We have been made aware today that Dumfries & Galloway Countryside Officers would like to work with Cairnryan in Bloom and the local volunteers to explore additional funding and resources to allow this to happen.
Looking forward to working with them to achieve this essential work to a core path.

That's really good to hear, Debbie. Well done on such a good result. I'm sure you'll get many volunteers offering to help with works. We'd certainly be happy to come and help out with whatever we are able.
