NEWS RELEASE FROM AMEY
For immediate release
ESSENTIAL RESURFACING ON THE A75 AT MINIGAFF
COMMENCES TUESDAY 3RD DECEMBER 2024
Amey, on behalf of Transport Scotland, is undertaking essential resurfacing on the A75 between Minigaff and Newton Stewart from
Tuesday 3rd December until Saturday 14th December 2024. This work will take place using an overnight convoy between the hours of
7pm and 6am each night in two phases –
Tuesday 3rd December to Friday 6th December with traffic management removed by 6am on Saturday 7th December
Monday 9th December to Friday 13th December with traffic management removed by 6am on Saturday 14th December
When works are being carried out across the A712 Junction, traffic should use the A714 Wigtown Road.
Access for emergency service vehicles will be maintained throughout these works.
Please note, all schemes are weather dependent and may be cancelled or rescheduled if weather conditions are not favourable.
This scheme will benefit vehicles using this route each day, by improving the condition of the carriageway and reducing the need for more extensive maintenance in the future.
