As winter has slowly given way to spring, lots of things have been going on in Cairnryan. In the last Fund newsletter we wrote about the newly published Cairnryan Action Plan and in this update - just a few months later - some of the projects prioritised by the community have already been completed by Cairnryan community groups, and lots more are in progress! Really positive news.

The Fund newsletter is put together by Foundation Scotland (a Scottish grant-making charity with a south of Scotland team) with the guidance of the Cairnryan Community Fund Panel. The Fund Panel is made up of local Cairnryan residents who volunteer their time to help direct the use of the Fund.

This update also contains some information about how the Community Energy Grants scheme went, and how the Fund has been used to date, hopefully inspiring people to come up with their own project ideas and initiatives. We hope you find it an interesting read.
